The State Gov Scoreboard website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for authentication and private communications. We do this to build users’ trust and confidence in the internet and our website. The encryption is SHA-2, 2048 bit level. GoDaddy, our hosting service, is the SSL certificate authority CA. Malware and blacklist scans are run daily to protect against any hacks or malware intrusions. The servers are protected by advanced firewall settings to prevent hacking and brute force attacks.
